Solicitor – Director
Sharon qualified from Westminster University and has since had a flourishing legal career. Sharon leads a busy legal team and oversees the Practice on a day to day basis. Sharon deals with complex legal cases and is the “go to” person in the office. She balances work and home life by spending as much time as possible with her two children. Holidays are spent on the ski slopes or (in the summer months) on the tennis courts.
Solicitor – Director
John initially joined the Foreign & Commonwealth Office in London before taking Law at Westminster University. Thereafter, he completed the Legal Practice Course at Chester College of Law before taking up a training contract in central Manchester, gathering very wide practice experience.
In recent years John has specialised in complex Clinical Negligence litigation and supervises Commercial Property work, General Litigation, Family and Employment matters.
He previously enjoyed playing rugby, but has now retired and keeps fit by playing squash, running, skiing and the occasional cross country obstacle race.
Catherine Griffiths LLB (Hons)
Director/Solicitor and Head of Conveyancing
I qualified as a Solicitor in 2005 and have worked in conveyancing for 14 years.
In my spare time I enjoy dancing and walking my dog with my husband.
I have worked in conveyancing for the past 30 years running my own case load for the last 23. I deal in all areas of residential conveyancing including sales and purchases for both freehold and leasehold land, new build, re-mortgages and transfer of equities. I have vast experience in dealing with new build help to buy purchases.
Conveyancing assistant to Tracy Willcocks
I have worked in residential conveyancing for the last 5 years and assist Tracy and her team. In my spare time I enjoy dancing, yoga and spending time with my family and friends.
Joe has a wealth of knowledge and experience in commercial property and commercial law generally, having initially started his career as a banker. He is also an avid supporter of Manchester United.
I am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives and have worked in residential conveyancing for the past 12 years. I pride myself on providing a seamless property transaction delivering a high level of care and commitment to all my clients. When not at work, firstly and foremost, I enjoy time spent with my family, walks in the countryside and musical theatre.
After a break of about 6 years I have returned to Conveyancing having previously worked in the field for about 18 years. I also have secretarial experience in the areas of criminal, family, debt, wills and probate law. In my spare time I like to walk my dogs, socialise and spend weekends away in my camper van! Oh and the odd glass of wine.

I work closely with Catherine to provide a seamless service to our clients in what is a very busy property department.
In my spare time I enjoy spending quality time with my family.

I have worked in conveyancing for the last 4 years and in my spare time I enjoy playing cricket for my local team and socialising with friends.

Joe O’Connor LLB
I studied History at Leeds University before I converted to Law and qualified as a solicitor. I previously worked in a regional firm in Cheshire before joining Charltons in July 2018.
Out of the office I enjoy playing football, going to the gym and socialising with friends.
Director – Chartered Legal Exec
I have over 20 years’ experience in dealing with Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection work and Probate. I also have residential conveyancing experience.
When I’m not working, I enjoy socialising with friends, going to the cinema walking my dogs and more importantly spending time with my family.

I work alongside Steph assisting in the wills and probate department. After a busy day in the office I relax by walking and spending time with my family.
Sarah Jane Hanks
Paralegal in the Family department and assistant to John Farrow.
I have worked for Charltons for the last 24 years and have many local business connections and clients.
Out of the office I love to spend time with my family. I enjoy shopping and walking and a good meal and the odd cocktail!
